Pete established Pelagian in 2002 after many years working in the subsea telecoms, renewable energy and survey sectors. His main responsibility is business strategy but he also continues to act as one of Pelagian’s principal consultants.

His key areas of expertise are in subsea cable permitting, installation project management and the environmental impact of submarine cables in fragile habitats.

Pete has a military background having served with the Royal Engineers in many theatres of operation around the globe. In his career, he has worked for a number of high profile offshore companies including Fugro, TE SubCom and Global Marine.
